20th February 2010 – TVRG meeting in Bracknell

This was a first. TVRG meetings are usually in the Beaconsfield or Oxford area so it was a real novelty for it to come this far south. The attendance was good, about 14, so I hope we can persuade members to come to our area again. Whenever possible we try to organise a walk and lunch before the meeting and this was no exception. As the meeting was being held in Warfield, a village to the north of Bracknell, I arranged a walk around Warfield. Just 5 of us braved the February weather, but it was dry and not unduly cold. Yes, it was very muddy in places but most of the route was OK

The next meeting will be in Beaconsfield in June and there will be a speaker on translating for the EU. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend as I am teaching that day.
