Spanish retreat

At the end of a long summer term I often rush off to my Spanish home to recharge the batteries. As usual I took my laptop and my work with me. I am conscious that taking flights to Spain has a detrimental effect on my carbon footprint but on the plus side I only use public transport, or walk, when I am there. Because I was working everyday I did not venture very far. Usually the trip affords the opportunity to hone the language skills but due to the amount of work I was doing I met very few people to speak to.
